On the afternoon of March 22, the People's Committee of Bac Trach commune (Quang Tri province) said that functional agencies have initially clarified the case of many cars being stoned, leading to broken windows when moving on the North-South expressway.
The incident occurred at about 8:30 PM on March 21, at Km 619+500 of the North - South expressway, passing through Lien Thuy village, Bac Trach commune. The act of throwing stones did not cause any casualties but damaged the windshields of 4 vehicles, including 2 trucks and 2 tractor-trailers.

After receiving the report, Bac Trach Commune Police coordinated with the Criminal Police Department of Quang Tri Provincial Police to investigate and clarify 6 related cases, aged 13-15, residing in Bo Trach and Phong Nha communes.

Currently, the case is being further investigated and clarified by the police agency for handling according to regulations.
