On the morning of September 22, information spread on Facebook about a woman traveling in Ninh Binh accusing a taxi driver of being greedy.
The content was shared by this female tourist, at around 7:30 a.m. on September 22, this female tourist took a taxi (driven by a male driver) in the area in front of Ninh Binh Traditional Medicine Hospital (in Hoa Lu ward, Ninh Binh).
The female tourist asked the driver to take her to a cafe, but when she arrived, the restaurant had not opened yet, so the driver suggested taking her along to pick up passengers, so she took this tourist to visit the streets.
This tourist also agreed and sat in the back seat. When arriving at Trang An Street (in Hoa Lu Ward), the driver stopped the car and told them to sit and wait for customers.
While the tourist was surfing his phone in the back seat, the driver suddenly got into the back seat and acted very discouragingly.
"At that time, I was so panicked that I shouted and just wanted to get out of the car but the car door was locked" - the tourist shared on Facebook.
Regarding the above incident, Hoa Lu Ward Police said that up to now (16:00 on September 22 - PV), the Ward Police have not received any feedback from the above tourist.
"However, when the information appeared on social networks, we reported it and are coordinating with the professional departments of the Provincial Police to verify. The person who posted this information on social media did not leave a phone number or personal information, so we have not been able to contact him" - said a representative of Hoa Lu Ward Police.
