Verifying the case of a female student being ganged up on by a group of friends in Lang Son

Lang Son - Functional agencies are verifying the case of a 15-year-old female student being "gang-beaten".

On September 4, information from the leaders of Huu Lung Commune Police said that the unit had received information about a scuffle in the area, and is currently waiting for the results of the medical examination to have a basis for handling.

Ms. Duong Thi Hanh, Secretary of the Party Committee of Huu Lung commune, said that the government has directed relevant units to verify, complete the dossier and soon resolve the case according to legal regulations.

Previously, social networks spread a video recording the scene of a female student being surrounded by two people in a deserted area.

After pushing the victim to the ground, this group continuously used their hands and feet to hit the head and face. The victim hugged his head, almost unable to resist.

Some people present did not intervene but stood and cheered, using their phones to record the incident.

The person who posted the video is Ms. Vy Th.L., born in 1990, residing in Huu Lung commune, Lang Son province. She said that the victim is her daughter, L.T. B. Th., born in 2011, preparing to enter 10th grade at the Continuing Education Center of 2 provinces of Lang Son.

According to Ms. L., the incident happened on July 29 in the area behind the Cau Muoi village cultural house, Huu Lung commune. That day, some acquaintances came to the house to invite Th. to go out. The female student asked her grandmother for permission and promised to return early, then was taken to the area behind the cultural house and then beaten.

The related people are said to live in a neighboring locality, about 3 km from the victim's house. Because Th.'s maternal grandparents' house is nearby, the children used to meet and play together.

Two days after the incident, Ms. L. learned that her child was beaten when she received a video from a member of the group chatting on social networks.

The family then met with the parents of the related people to discuss, but no results were achieved.

According to the mother, Th. often complained of headaches, neck pain, and many wounds on her hands and feet. The female student was still panicked, limited from leaving the house, and worried as the new school year was approaching.

The family has reported to the police, and at the same time requested the authorities and educational institutions to clarify the responsibilities of those involved.
