According to initial information, at around 12:00 on October 27, a container truck with license plate 29H - 386.xx pulling a trailer 29R - 510.xx was driven by driver N.M.N (residing in Binh Thuan province).
While traveling north-south on National Highway 1A, the car crashed into a house in Hoan Lao town (Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province). Fortunately, no one was home at the time.
After the accident, driver N was injured and taken to Bo Trach District General Hospital for emergency treatment. At the scene, the container truck was severely damaged. About 10m of fence, a wall and a corrugated iron roof in front of the resident's yard were damaged and collapsed.
The initial cause is suspected to be heavy rain and slippery road leading to loss of control.
The incident is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
