At around 4:00 p.m. on September 16, a fire broke out at house number 8, lane 50 Dinh Thon street, Tu Liem ward, Hanoi.
Immediately after receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Hanoi City Police dispatched 3 fire trucks and dozens of soldiers to the scene to coordinate with the Ward Police and local people to extinguish the fire.

The scale of the fire was not large, but due to the small alley and many curious people coming out to see it, this area was congested, the ward police force had to regulate and divert traffic.
Ms. Le Thi Ngoc (witness at the scene) said that the fire started from the first floor staircase and burned along the stairs, causing smoke. After discovering the fire, people shouted and reported it to the authorities.
According to Ms. Ngoc, when the fire broke out, a girl in the house ran up to the rooftop, called for help and was rescued safely by the authorities.

The fire did not cause any human casualties, and the authorities are continuing to investigate the cause.
Previously, at 4:40 a.m. this morning, a serious fire broke out in Thuong Tin commune.
The incident killed 4 people in a family, including a couple and 2 young children.
