Motorcycle collides with truck, a student dies on the spot

    Quang Binh - The traffic accident between a motorbike and a truck at Cu Nam intersection killed 1 student and injured 2 others.

    On March 20, the People's Committee of Cu Nam commune (Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province) said that a traffic accident had just occurred in the area, causing a student to die on the spot.

    According to initial information, the accident occurred at around 3:30 p.m. the same day at the intersection between Provincial Road 561 connecting Van Trach Commune, Cu Nam Commune and the road to Phu Dinh Commune, Bo Trach District.

    At that time, 3 students were traveling on a motorbike from Hung Vuong High School (Cu Nam Commune) to Van Trach Commune. When reaching the intersection, the motorbike collided with a truck carrying wood chips (a license plate of Nghe An province) traveling from Phu Dinh commune to.

    The collision caused 1 student (grade 8 in the area) to die on the spot. The remaining 2 students (grade 10 and 11) were seriously injured and were taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.

    The authorities were present at the scene to direct traffic and investigate the cause of the incident.
