At around 7:15 a.m. on September 19, on National Highway 20, through Bao Loc Ward 3, a traffic accident occurred between a truck and a motorbike, killing an old man.
At the above time, a motorbike driven by Mr. H.V.T (83 years old, residing in Anh Mai 3 Village, Bao Loc Ward) was traveling on National Highway 20 from Ho Chi Minh City to Xuan Huong - Da Lat (Lam Dong).
After that, Mr. T drove the motorbike back in the direction. At this time, a truck with a Ho Chi Minh City license plate driven by driver N.V.K (32 years old, living in Tra Vinh province) traveling in the same direction behind collided and hit Mr. T.
The accident left the motorbike stuck in the truck cabin, seriously injuring Mr. T. After that, Mr. T was taken to Lam Dong II Hospital for emergency treatment by local people, but died later. The accident also deformed the motorbike, damaged the front of the truck.
After the accident, the Traffic Police of Lam Dong Province Police and the Police of Bao Loc Ward 3 were present to regulate and divert traffic.
Currently, the authorities are also examining the scene and investigating the cause of the accident.
