According to initial information, at around 5am the same day, a rescue truck pulling a dump truck was traveling on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay Expressway, from Dong Nai to Binh Thuan.
When arriving at Cam My district, the above vehicle was hit by a truck traveling in the same direction.
The strong impact caused vehicles to crash into the median strip and then swerve into the opposite lane, blocking both sides of the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay Expressway.
According to records at the scene, both vehicles were severely damaged. Fortunately, the accident did not cause any human casualties.
Upon receiving the report, Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 6, Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security quickly arrived at the scene, coordinated to handle the incident and regulate traffic.
The cause of the accident is being investigated and clarified.
