Truck carrying soil crashes into the rear of a school bus, many children injured

Thai Nguyen - Truck carrying soil collides with passenger car stopping to pick up students, causing many students scratched.

On March 18, information from Tan Thanh Commune People's Committee, the accident occurred at about 6:50 am on the same day on the road connecting QL37 with provincial road 269B in the direction from Tan Thanh commune to Cau May.

At the above time, a 24-seater passenger car was stopping close to the roadside to pick up students when suddenly a truck carrying soil with license plate 20H – 048. 04 in the same direction rushed in and crashed strongly from behind.

The collision caused the school bus to be thrown about 40m forward, the rear of the bus was heavily damaged and deformed.

Many students on the bus panicked, some were scratched and injured. No serious injuries were recorded.

Immediately after the incident, people quickly supported taking the injured students to the hospital. Functional forces then also arrived at the scene to divert traffic.

The cause of the accident is being investigated and clarified.
