8th grade student in Thai Nguyen drowned during outdoor experience class

Thai Nguyen - An 8th grade student of Pac Nam Ethnic Minority Boarding Secondary School drowned while participating in outdoor experience activities.

On the evening of March 5, information from Bang Thanh Commune People's Committee, the incident occurred in the afternoon of March 4 in the spillway area of Na Leng village. The victim is H.T. P (born 2012, 8B grade student of Pac Nam Ethnic Minority Boarding School).

Accordingly, on March 4, Pac Nam Ethnic Minority Boarding Secondary School organized for 7th and 8th grade students to participate in an experiential lesson with the theme "I love nature" in the spillway area.

During the activity, P. unfortunately drowned and died. After the incident, functional forces were present at the scene, and at the same time organized visits to encourage the victim's family.

Also on the evening of March 5, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Duong Van Hai - Principal of Pac Nam Ethnic Minority Boarding Secondary School said that the unit had reported the incident to higher levels. Currently, the police agency is investigating and clarifying the cause of drowning.
