The incident occurred at around 1:05 p.m. on October 16 at km14+600 of National Highway 38B in An Nghiep village, Thanh Mien commune. The truck crashed into a motorbike driven by Mr. T.V.H (born in 1969, residing in Hoa Binh village, Thanh Mien commune) in the same direction. As a result, Mr. H died at the scene.
According to the Traffic Safety Committee, the cause of the accident was that the truck driver did not keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front.
On the same day, an accident also occurred at 6:39 p.m. at km6+960 of Provincial Road 390B in Ha Bac commune. A motorbike driven by Mr. B.N.N (born in 2003, residing in Nam village, Ha Bac commune) from Ha Nam commune to National Highway 5, carrying his younger brother B.N.B (born in 2003) collided with Mr. N.V.H (born in 1968, residing in Ha Bac commune) walking onto the road.
As a result, Mr. H suffered a traumatic brain injury, a critical condition. The preliminary reason was that Mr. H walked onto the road incorrectly, Mr. N did not pay attention.
