On September 19, a truck with license plate 29H-920. XX was traveling on the Van Phong - Nha Trang expressway in the North - South direction.
When arriving in Nam Ninh Hoa commune, Khanh Hoa province, the truck suddenly swayed, then overturned into a drainage ditch along the route and fell on the positive taluy on the side of the road.
At the scene, the driver and a companion luckily escaped. However, the truck was heavily damaged.
The accident also damaged many construction items on the expressway. Among them, 11 corrugated iron guardrails, 17 cushions and 13 guardrail pillars were damaged; 1 H2/349 column was broken and about 15m of reinforced concrete shoulders were damaged.
After the accident, traffic in the direction of Van Phong - Nha Trang was affected, and vehicles moved slowly through the area.
Upon receiving the news, the road patrol team was present, coordinating with the traffic police force to organize traffic diversion and regulation. Functional forces also dispatched rescue vehicles to the scene to remove the truck involved in the accident from the area.
