Accordingly, on the afternoon of October 16, social networks posted a clip recording the scene of a truck going up the Thai Ha - Chua Boc overpass during rush hour, causing traffic safety problems and obstructing traffic in the area. The vehicle then got stuck because its height exceeded the bridge's height restriction.
As soon as receiving the information, Hanoi Traffic Police Department urgently directed verification.
Following the direction of the Head of the Traffic Police Department, Road Traffic Police Team No. 3 quickly verified and clarified information about the car in the above incident.
Upon verification, the car was ISUZU, license plate 29H-403.XX. Using professional measures, Road Traffic Police Team No. 3 invited the driver of the above car to come to work.
At the police station, Mr. N.D.D (born in 1979, residing in Chuong My, Hanoi) admitted to driving car with license plate 29H-403.XX into a prohibited road on the afternoon of October 16, 2024 as shown in the clip posted on social media.
Based on the verification documents, Road Traffic Police Team No. 3 drew up an administrative violation report against Mr. N.D.D for the violation: "Driving a vehicle onto a road with a sign prohibiting entry for the type of vehicle being driven".
For this violation, Mr. N.D.D will be fined from 2 to 3 million VND and have his driving license revoked for 1 to 3 months. The violator will also be responsible for repairing the damage caused by the violation.
