Previously, on October 21, 2020, the Tue Lam medicinal plant planting and processing project of Tue Lam High-tech Agriculture Company Limited was approved in principle for investment by the People's Committee of Quang Binh province.
The investment goal will be to grow and process medicinal plants, contributing to socio-economic development and solving labor needs for local people.
Investing in construction of works on a land area of about 50.6 hectares serving production, processing, auxiliary works and technical infrastructure according to the approved planning in Ly Trach commune, Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province.
Construction scale includes: Experimental and breeding research area; medicinal herb intensive cultivation area, operating area, processing factory, product display and introduction area, medicinal herb application model area in life, internal traffic roads and other auxiliary items...
Total investment capital is 46 billion VND. The project implementation progress is expected to start within 12 months from October 21, 2020. The project completion time is 24 months from the commencement date. But after 4 years, this project is still on paper.
According to the project implementation report of Tue Lam High-Tech Agriculture Company Limited, there has been no revenue so far because the project has not been put into operation.
After 4 years on paper, the Company has sent a document requesting to adjust the above investment project.
On October 11, 2024, the People's Committee of Quang Binh province issued a document approving the adjustment of the investment policy for the Tue Lam medicinal plant planting and processing project.
This adjustment is licensed for construction, starting the project within 6 months from the date of signing the decision to adjust the investment policy; completing and putting the project into operation before April 28, 2026.
