At about 2:10 pm on July 2, on National Highway 6, passing through Dan village, Yen Chau commune (Son La), a traffic accident occurred between a truck and a motorbike, killing one person.
According to initial information, a truck with license plate 36K-247. 22 traveling in the direction of Son La - Hanoi collided with a motorbike with license plate 26B2-383. 38 traveling in the opposite direction.
The collision killed the motorbike driver at the scene. Two vehicles were damaged.
At the time of the accident, the road surface was slippery and wet due to previous rain. The traffic safety signal system in the area was fully deployed.
Immediately after receiving the news, traffic police forces, functional units and local authorities were present to protect the scene, divert and regulate vehicles to ensure traffic on National Highway 6.
Currently, the cause of the accident is being investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
