On July 2nd, the Son La Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with Son La Toy Co., Ltd. to organize the "Trade Union Meal" program for 750 union members and workers working at the enterprise.
The program aims to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026), contributing to caring for the lives of union members and workers and strengthening the connection between trade unions and businesses.
Each meal is worth 51,000 VND, of which the Provincial Labor Federation supports 30,000 VND, Son La Toy Co., Ltd. supports 21,000 VND, with a total budget of more than 38.2 million VND.
On this occasion, the Son La Provincial Forest Protection and Development Fund presented 40 backpacks of students and 300 notebooks to give to workers' children.
The company's grassroots trade union presented 10 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to union members in difficult circumstances.
Ms. Thai Thi Mai - Vice President of the Son La Provincial Labor Federation - said that "Trade Union Meals" is a practical activity to show gratitude and care for union members and workers. The program contributes to encouraging workers to feel secure in their work, stick with businesses and build harmonious and stable labor relations.
