On June 21, the Traffic Police Department (PC08) of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police issued an initial report on the truck crash into a house in Nha Trang.
Up to now, the authorities have conducted alcohol and drug testing for the driver.
According to PC08 Department, the accident occurred on the afternoon of June 20, on Phong Chau Street, Vinh Thai Commune, Nha Trang City.
The truck with license plate 79C-190.98 was driven by Pham Phu Phong (45 years old, residing in Binh Duong province), traveling on the Phong Chau branch road, from Chin Khuc mountain to Phong Chau street.
When arriving at the intersection at 97 Phong Chau, the car crashed straight into the house of 97 Phong Chau.
The consequences of the accident caused the death of Mr. T.Q.T (62 years old) - the person sitting in the house.
Driver Phong was seriously injured and is being treated at Khanh Hoa General Hospital.
