Eliminate bad customs, reduce poverty
In Mjui village, Ea Trang commune (M'Drak district) is spreading many touching stories about the dedication of village elders and prestigious people. A typical example is the village elder Y Ut Bya, who is always a spiritual support to help people overcome difficulties and rise up.
Ms. H'Ben - a resident of the village shared: "My family used to be in a very difficult situation, only relying on one rice crop. At times, I plan to let my children stay home from school to work. But thanks to the old man Y Ut Bya's encouragement, the family's life gradually stabilized."

According to Ms. H'Ben, Mr. Y Ut Bya not only comes to the house to encourage and motivate them but also works with the young people in the village to repair the dilapidated roof of the family.
In particular, Mr. Y Ut Bya introduced a job to Ms. H'Ben's husband who works in construction to have a stable income. Thanks to that, Ms. H'Ben stays at home growing rice, sugarcane, beans and raising livestock to improve her family's economy.
The case of Ms. H'Nuen Bya, in M'Bhao village, Cu M'ta commune (M'Drak district) is also proof of the positive change thanks to the village elders and prestigious people.

Having struggled with a few hectares of rice fields, after being promoted by a village chief and a prestigious person to borrow 40 million VND from the Social Policy Bank, Ms. H'Nuen Bya bought breeding cows and invested in raising livestock. Up to now, the herd has earned more than 100 million VND per year, so her family has escaped poverty and become a well-off household in the village.
"Thanks to the sales manager's encouragement, I dare to borrow capital to do business. Now the family has a stable economy," Ms. H'Nuen said emotionally.
Mr. Y Hin Ksor - the head of the trading group, head of the B'Mhao wholesale loan savings group said: "In the case of Ms. H'Nuen, it was very hesitant at first. I have to clearly explain preferential credit policies and instructions on livestock farming techniques. As a result, after only a few years, her family has improved. That is our greatest happiness.

Similarly, Mr. Y Thanh Nie, in Ea Ho commune, Krong Nang district, shared: "My family was in a difficult situation about 5 years ago, trying so hard but still not having enough to eat. After that, local officials, village elders, and prestigious people came to guide and guide the development of the household economy".
"After 3 years of struggling to raise livestock and try to produce, my family has had a better life than before. Without the support and companionship of local officials and village elders, we do not know how long my family's life would have been without difficulties," Mr. Y Thanh confided.
