On December 15, the Traffic Police Department of Cao Bang Provincial Police organized a peak campaign to ensure traffic order and safety during the New Year, Lunar New Year and Spring Festival 2025, lasting from December 15, 2024 to February 14, 2025.
Accordingly, the force will focus on patrolling and handling violations such as alcohol and drug levels, speeding, overloading, illegal racing, and student violations. In particular, alcohol violations will be reported to the workplace or school for handling.
In addition to ensuring traffic safety, the traffic police also coordinate to detect and prevent crimes on the route, and handle violations in the spirit of “no restricted areas”. On the morning of the campaign, the traffic police handled 28 cases and temporarily detained 11 vehicles.
The Traffic Police Department recommends that people comply with traffic laws, especially new regulations that take effect from January 1, 2025.
Also on the morning of December 15, the Steering Committee for crime prevention, social evils and building a movement for the entire people to protect national security in Cao Bang province (Steering Committee 138) held a launching ceremony to carry out a peak period of attacking and suppressing crime, ensuring security and order before, during and after the Lunar New Year, towards ensuring security and safety for Party Congresses at all levels in the province in 2025.
