According to Tan Lap Ward Police, through exchange, the man said that he was in Nha Trang ward (Khanh Hoa province) with his wife and children, so he asked permission to go to the police station to work immediately after returning to Dak Lak next week.
Currently, Tan Lap Ward Police have worked with Mr. D. N (39 years old, service car driver) - the person who was beaten by the passenger - to grasp relevant information. If the driver requests reduction for the person who assaulted him, it is only one factor, and the handling will be strictly implemented in accordance with the law.
As Lao Dong newspaper reported, at about 10:50 PM on February 18th, Mr. D. N (Grab driver) picked up a family including a husband and wife and two young children in the Eco City area (Tan An ward) to move to Nguyen Van Cu street (Tan Lap ward).
During the journey, the couple argued. After that, the husband turned to loudly shout at the driver. Just after a few curses, the man suddenly punched the driver in the face when the car was traveling on the road.
After the punch, the man continued to show an aggressive attitude, intending to rush in and beat him again, but was intervened by his wife sitting behind. A few minutes later, this person got out of the car, circled through the driver's door and repeatedly apologized.
