Khanh Hoa handles nearly 800 traffic violations during Tet

Khanh Hoa - Alcohol concentration violations accounted for a high proportion of traffic violations in Khanh Hoa during the recent Tet holidays.

On February 20th, information from the Traffic Police Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police, from February 14th to February 20th, the unit simultaneously launched patrols, inspections, and strictly handled violations of traffic order and safety, focusing on alcohol concentration violations.

Functional forces organize closed patrols in the area, strengthen control on key routes such as National Highway 1, National Highway 26, National Highway 27 and central roads, areas with many restaurants, eateries, and entertainment spots during Tet.

According to statistics, through patrol and control work, the traffic police force throughout the province has detected and made records of 785 cases of traffic safety violations; temporarily seized 304 vehicles.

Among them, there were 272 cases of alcohol concentration violations. The total amount of administrative fines is about 1.1 billion VND.

The inspection and handling process is carried out seriously, in accordance with procedures, with the spirit of "no forbidden zones, no exceptions".

In parallel with handling violations, functional forces also promote propaganda and remind people to strictly comply with the regulation "not driving after drinking alcohol and beer".

Thanks to the drastic implementation of measures, the traffic safety and order situation in the province is basically stabilized, traffic accidents are controlled, contributing to people enjoying spring and celebrating Tet safely.
