No drug violations were detected.
Throughout the Tet holiday, the whole province arranged 441 patrol and control teams with 3,177 officers and soldiers participating in the task. Through inspection, the traffic police force made records of 1,467 violations; temporarily seized 6 cars, 368 motorbikes, 2 other vehicles and 861 papers of all kinds... The total fine amount is more than 3 billion VND.
In addition to alcohol concentration violations, functional forces also detected and handled 352 cases of speeding; 151 cases of not having driver's licenses; carrying oversized and overloaded goods in 2 cases; stopping and parking vehicles improperly in 47 cases...
Along with handling work, the traffic police force directly propagated to 212 truck and passenger car drivers and 421 motorbike drivers about the regulations on not using alcohol, beer, and drugs when participating in traffic; organized signing commitments not to violate.
At bus stations, functional forces request vehicles to ensure technical safety conditions before departure, not to depart when the weather is not guaranteed; 45 vehicle turns have signed commitments to comply.
For railways, traffic police coordinate with railway industry units to proactively grasp the situation and ensure traffic order and safety on routes passing through the area.
In the field of waterways, functional forces organized 6 patrol and control shifts in the water area of Quy Nhon Port cluster and Hai Cang - Nhon Chau route, making records of handling 3 cases with a total amount of 3 million VND.
According to the leader of the Traffic Police Department of Gia Lai Provincial Police, during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, 100% of the personnel are arranged to be on duty on each route, each time frame, focusing on controlling high-risk acts causing accidents such as alcohol concentration violations, speeding... ; and at the same time being ready to promptly handle arising situations, ensuring smooth and safe traffic for people during Tet.
