Fining 66 cases of food safety violations in Quang Ninh

    Quang Ninh - Quang Ninh Department of Health has just issued a document publicizing the list of organizations and individuals sanctioned for administrative violations of food safety in March 2026.

    According to this document, the whole province has 66 organizations and individuals fined, with a total amount of 390.35 million VND.

    The main violations are trading in smuggled food, of unknown origin; violations of regulations in food processing and preservation; failure to fully implement food safety regulations.

    In which, the market management force fined 14 cases, with a total amount of 124.4 million VND. Sub-Department of Customs Region VIII fined 6 cases, with a total amount of 101.5 million VND.

    The Police force fined 40 cases, with a total amount of 142.2 million VND. The Sub-Department of Food Safety and Hygiene fined 3 organizations, with a total amount of 20 million VND; People's Committees of localities fined 3 cases, with a total amount of 2.25 million VND.
