On September 13, Buon Ma Thuot City Police (Dak Lak Province) informed that the unit had received a file from Thang Loi Ward Police regarding a case in which a resident reported that an employee of a moon cake shop used a sharp object to slash his car while it was parked.
Regarding this incident, Buon Ma Thuot City Police have transferred the case to the ward police for administrative punishment.
After being invited to work by the police, the female employee of the moon cake shop admitted all her wrongdoings in using a sharp object to scratch another person's car.
Previously, Mr. Q (a driving instructor) said that on the morning of September 5, he was driving a car on Le Thanh Tong Street (Thang Loi Ward) and parked on the street, in front of a moon cake shop.
There were many mooncake stalls next to each other on the sidewalk. There were no signs prohibiting parking on the road, so he parked in front of a shop to go to the clinic across the street to do some personal business.
According to Mr. Q, when he stopped to park his car, he went into the shop and asked the female employee selling cakes about temporary parking. The employee replied: "We will not be responsible for any loss or damage to the car."
After that, Mr. Q went to do some personal work and returned about 30 minutes later to find that the car had a long scratch from the hood around to the left side of the car, running all the way to the rear of the car.
Faced with the incident, Mr. Q immediately checked the dash cam on the car and received images of the female employee of the moon cake shop using an object suspected to be a key to cause scratches on the car.
“I have filed a report and provided all the evidence to the police. The cost to fix the scratches on the car is about 10 million VND. I have no request, I just want this female employee to fix the scratches on the car,” said Mr. Q.
