On May 15, information from Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police had just coordinated with Trieu Loc Commune Police and Thanh Hoa Railway Signal Company to verify and clarify the case of a truck driver intentionally crossing a railway barrier.

Previously, at about 9:05 am on May 13, Mr. Le Van L. (born 1979, residing in Mau Lam commune, Thanh Hoa province) was driving a truck with license plate 36H-019. xx passing through a level crossing at Km155+725 of the North-South railway line, intersecting with provincial road 526, in Trieu Loc commune.
At this time, although the warning signal was on, the automatic barrier was lowering, the driver still intentionally drove the vehicle across the level crossing, leading to a collision that broke an automatic barrier.
The incident made many witnesses' hearts skip a beat, because at the time the car got stuck on the tracks, the risk of railway traffic accidents was very high. Only when people around rushed out to warn and remind him, did the driver continue to drive the vehicle to break the barrier to leave the level crossing area. A few seconds later, the train passed through the above location safely.
After the incident, functional agencies determined that Mr. Le Van L. had violated the following errors: "Crossing the level crossing when the red light has been turned on" and "Steering a road motor vehicle and damaging the barrier".
Based on current regulations, functional forces have made a record of administrative violation, proposed to fine the driver a total of 11 million VND, and at the same time revoked the right to use the driver's license for 2 months.
