The Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon Expressway is 88 km long, connecting the two provinces of Quang Ngai and Binh Dinh, with an investment capital of about 20,400 billion VND, invested by Project Management Board 2. The project started in early 2023 and is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
These days, when night falls, gathered with their families, workers, engineers, and construction machinery drivers of the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon expressway are still working hard at the construction site.

The joint venture unit is putting all the efforts to complete the project in 2025 as directed by the Prime Minister.
To date, the construction output has reached about VND 8,800 billion, equivalent to 66%. Of which, the roadbed for construction with crushed stone is about 65%, with asphalt paving for more than 21 km. The bridge system has installed 74/77 bridges. To ensure the project's progress is on schedule, the Deo Ca contractor and the consortium will organize construction in 3 shifts, 4 teams per day.
Along the project site, electric lights from construction equipment light up an entire area. Most of the project's roadbed items have been completed and K95 is being built, only a few are being built and K98. The rest, the contractor is focusing on the construction of crushed stone aggregate, cement reinforced crushed stone aggregate and asphalt concrete pavement.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Mongue, from Nghe An province, drove a processing machine through the route of XL1 bidding package, said: The project progress requires urgent project, the time to complete is not much, so he and dozens of other machines are determined to overtime and increase working crews. "The night shift construction is a bit extremely, but in return, the sky is cool and the salary is also higher, so the greater determination," he paraded.
Mr. Tran Duc Sy, also from Nghe An province, said he has been working at the construction site for more than a year, most of the time working day shifts. Currently, due to the urgent project schedule, the workers encourage each other to overcome difficulties and work overnight to increase daily output to complete the project.
According to Mr. Ngo Truong Nam, the need to race for progress, ensuring the completion of this national key transport work, in addition to the contractor's duties, is also an honor of Deo Ca Group. The Prime Minister assigned the contractor to complete the project before December 31, 2025, shortening the progress of 7 months compared to the original plan. Therefore, Deo Ca Group is determined at all costs, completing the task assigned by the Prime Minister.
