This is a step to effectively take advantage of the modernly invested administrative infrastructure, while better serving the people in the most populous new ward of District 6.

Ms. Le Thi Thanh Thao said that the District 6 Public Administration Center (located at the District 6 People's Committee headquarters) has just been invested in to meet modern standards to serve the people.

In particular, since March 2021, the automatic file receiving and return system placed in front of the District 6 People's Committee headquarters has been put into operation.

In this system, people submit their application to the machine, get the receipt number; when coming to receive the application, they just need to enter the receipt code. The system is capable of automatically receiving and returning paper documents, continuously serving 24/7.

Ho Chi Minh City plans to test operate new wards and communes from June 15 to 20, before officially putting them into operation from July 1.

According to Ms. Le Thi Thanh Thao, if the ward is chosen as a point for the new model, District 6 will choose Binh Tien ward.
