From January 13 to February 2, 1,488 vehicles were fined in Bac Ninh - according to the list just announced by Bac Ninh Provincial Police.
Notably, according to the above list, there are 3 routes with the largest number of vehicles fined: National Highway 1, Km 141+900 (with 565 vehicles); Provincial Road 295, Cam Giang quarter, Dong Nguyen ward, Tu Son city (224 vehicles) and Provincial Road 287, Hoan Son commune, Tien Du district (104 vehicles).
After checking, most of the vehicles had the same violation, which was speeding.
According to the reporter's investigation, currently, National Highway 1 section Hanoi - Bac Ninh is organizing traffic in the direction of: Monitoring the median strip for cars, maximum speed of 90km/h. The next lane (middle lane) is for cars and motorbikes, with a maximum speed of 70km/h. The remaining lane outside is for motorbikes and rudimentary vehicles, with a maximum speed of 50km/h.
Decree 168 has increased the fine for speeding violations, and deducted points from the driving license (GPLX). Specifically:
Excessive speed from 5 km/h - under 10 km/h: fine from 800,000 VND - 1,000,000 VND.
Excessive speed from 10 - 20 km/h: fine from 4 - 6 million VND, deduct 2 points from driving license.
The speed limit is over 20 - 35 km/h: the fee is from 6 - 8 million VND, deducting 4 points from the driving license.
Excessive speed limit over 35 km/h: fine from 12 - 14 million VND, deduct 6 points from driving license.
The only case of speeding being stripped of a driver's license for 10 - 12 months is the offence of speeding on the road; and a fine of 40 - 45 million VND.
For motorbikes, the fine for speeding is as follows:
Excessive speed from 5 km/h - under 10 km/h: fine from 400,000 - 600,000 VND.
If you speed from 10 - 20 km/h, the fine is from 800,000 - 1,000,000 VND.
Excessive speed limiting to over 20 km/h is a fine of VND6 - 8 million, deducting 4 points from the driving license.
When paying the fine, people need to prepare the following documents:
For cars: Vehicle registration, Certificate of technical safety inspection and environmental protection, Driver's license of the violator, Citizen identification card of the violator (photocopy 1 copy of each type of document).
For motorbikes: Vehicle registration, Driver's license of the violator, Citizen identification card of the violator (with each type of document photocopy 1 copy).
