Right behind the Audi R8 has a sporty design of the Hummer H1 Alpha with a huge, under-seat appearance. According to research, both models are being sold. Of which, Audi R8 is being offered for about 3.2 billion VND, while the Hummer H1 Alpha is not being disclosed, buyers need to come and see the car directly to negotiate.
Hummer H1 Alpha is considered a rare off-road pickup truck model in Vietnam today. The vehicle uses a 4-wheel drive system, developed based on the M998 Humvee military prototype, produced by AM General.
The civil version of the Hummer H1 was produced until 2006, before General Motors stopped the line due to new emissions regulations in the US. Final year models, including the H1 Alpha, have upgraded their engines to a higher fuel consumption of about 24 liters/100 km.
The Hummer H1 Alpha in Hanoi is the highest-end version, equipped with a 6.6-liter Duramax V8 turbocharged diesel engine, 300 horsepower, maximum torque of 705 Nm, 5-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle is capable of wading in water up to 762 mm deep and has a ground clearance of 406 mm, meeting strict off-road standards.
Meanwhile, the 2007 Audi R8 appeared with the bodykit Regula package, changing the design of the front and rear of the car, creating a more sporty appearance. The car uses a 4.2-liter V8 engine, producing 420 horsepower and a maximum torque of 430 Nm.
The powertrain includes a 6-speed semi-autonomous transmission and full-time four-wheel drive, allowing acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and a maximum speed of 301 km/h.
