According to initial records, the fire broke out right after the big thunderstorm. Some people living near the scene said that they heard thunder and discovered a fire rising from a locomotive storage area, specifically the rice cooker storage area. The fire quickly spread to the car garage workshop located next to it, creating a column of high black smoke and a strong burning smell covering the neighborhood.
As soon as the news was received, the authorities quickly arrived, deployed fire fighting measures, blocked off the scene and instructed people to leave the dangerous area. After efforts, the fire was controlled and prevented from spreading to neighboring houses.
Fortunately, the fire did not cause any human casualties. However, many electrical equipment and part of the corrugated iron roof of the warehouse and the garage were severely damaged.
The initial cause was determined to be an electrical short circuit after thunderstorms. The authorities are continuing to investigate to clarify and count the damage.
