At 22:08 on March 22, 2025, the working group of Road Traffic Police Team No. 2, Traffic Police Department, Bac Giang Provincial Police, performing the task of patrolling, controlling, and handling violations at Km 114+200 National Highway 1A in Dinh Ke Ward, Bac Giang City, discovered a red car with signs of violation, so they deployed forces to stop the vehicle for inspection.
Through inspection, it was discovered that the car with license plate 99A-821.xx had used other materials to paint the license plate number.
The driver was Mr. DVH, born in 1999, residing in Phu Dong, Ba Vi, Hanoi at the time of inspection, but could not present a driver's license.
After that, the working group drew up a record of Mr. DVH's violation and temporarily detained the vehicle to immediately prevent the administrative violation and ensure the penalty according to regulations.
According to the Traffic Police Department of Bac Giang Province Police, the violations against Mr. DVH will be punished at a very high level, specifically:
- First act: Using other materials to paint on the license plate is stipulated in Point b, Clause 8, Article 13 of Decree No. 168/2024/ND-CP dated December 26, 2024 of the Government with a fine of VND 20,000,000 to VND 26,000,000.
- Second act: Driving a car without a driving license is stipulated in Point b, Clause 9, Article 18 of Decree No. 168/2024/ND-CP dated December 26, 2024 of the Government with a fine of VND 18,000,000 to VND 20,000,000.
In addition, the above two acts also apply penalties to vehicle owners. If the vehicle owner is an individual, the vehicle owner is a person and will be fined VND 34,000,000, the vehicle owner is an organization, and will be fined VND 68,000,000.
In the coming time, the Traffic Police Department of Bac Giang Province will continue to synchronously and drastically deploy working measures, mobilizing maximum forces and means to strictly handle violations of traffic safety order, especially acts such as covering up, changing license plate numbers... to avoid inspection and control by the authorities.
