Inspection, auditing agencies and investigation agencies must proactively take action immediately upon detecting signs of violations, not allowing them to be extended or causing waste.

The Prime Minister issued Directive No. 08/CT-TTg on promoting waste prevention and control, unlocking resources, and promoting economic growth.

The Prime Minister assigned the Government Inspectorate to direct and organize thematic inspections in a number of areas of management and use of economic resources.

In particular, focusing on a number of areas that are likely to cause great loss and waste to handle violations, while strongly warning and deterring other ministries and local branches in effectively managing and using financial resources and public assets.

The Prime Minister requested to strengthen the coordination mechanism, data sharing, and build a process for handling interconnections between ministries, branches, and localities to ensure that wasteful and negative cases are detected and handled promptly.

At the same time, there needs to be a mechanism for close supervision between authorities at all levels to avoid group interests, cover up violations, and affect the effectiveness of state management.

Inspection, auditing agencies and investigation agencies must coordinate closely and proactively take action as soon as signs of violations are detected, not allowing them to be prolonged, causing waste and public outrage.

At the first meeting of the Steering Committee for Waste Prevention and Control, the Prime Minister assessed that the work of fighting waste in the recent past has achieved initial and encouraging results.

Regarding the removal of land problems in inspection, examination and judgment conclusions in a number of provinces and cities according to Conclusion No. 77-KL/TW of the Politburo, the Government has recently reported to the National Assembly to issue Resolution No. 170/2024/QH15, thereby creating a legal basis to resolve backlogged and problematic projects.

In Da Nang alone, according to statistics, more than 1,300 projects will be resolved in the spirit of the Conclusion of the Politburo.

At the same time, resolve the long-standing problems of the Viet Duc Hospital project, facility 2 and the Bach Mai Hospital project, facility 2. Complete the mandatory transfer of 4 weak commercial banks. Handling all 12 previously lost and ineffective projects of the industry and trade.

Promote extended projects such as the 20-year Lot B - O Mon gas project chain, along with a series of energy projects.

However, there are still some shortcomings and limitations in the work of preventing and combating waste in various fields, and there is still a waste of time, effort, resources, land, resources, public and private assets, and public procurement.

Many housing and land facilities are not used, used inefficiently or for the wrong purpose, greatly affecting people's trust and resources are not mobilized for development.
