According to the survey results of the Employment Service Center under the Department of Home Affairs of Bac Giang province, in 2025, newly established and expanded enterprises in Bac Giang province will need to recruit about 127,000 workers.
The number of workers is mainly in the general education group, concentrated in the electronics industry (about 73%); a large number of workers work in enterprises such as: Hong Hai Science and Technology Group (Foxconn); Luxshare-ICT Limited Liability Company.
The textile - packaging group accounts for 14.3% of recruitment demand; the rest are the processing - manufacturing, trade - service industry groups.
To meet the labor needs in industrial parks, enterprises, authorities, and recruitment units in Bac Giang province have actively promoted information, job opportunities, working conditions, and cared for workers in the province.
Bac Giang province also organized working groups led by provincial leaders directly to localities and universities to enhance contact and cooperation to recruit students and workers to Bac Giang.
In the first quarter of this year, functional sectors and localities have supported businesses in recruiting more than 35,000 new workers, exceeding the forecast demand by 5,000 people.
In the second quarter, the recruitment demand of enterprises in Bac Giang province is forecast to be about 30,000 workers.
According to the Bac Giang Provincial Employment Service Center, the large recruitment demand to meet orders has created competition for new personnel among companies, requiring businesses to have salary policies, benefits, working conditions, and a good working environment to retain employees.
