Regarding this content, the Ministry of Public Security responded as follows:
Article 17 of Decree 168/2024/ND-CP stipulates as follows:
Fines from VND 500,000 to VND 1,000,000 for driving without meeting the requirements for urban traffic hygiene.
Fine from VND 2,000,000 to VND 4,000,000 for one of the following violations:
Carrying soil, rocks, waste, loose goods without hoods, tarpaulins or with hoods, tarpaulins but still dropping goods on the road; carrying goods or waste to let water flow onto the road, causing traffic insecurity.
Attracting mud, soil, sand, raw materials, materials or other waste onto the road, causing traffic insecurity.
Fines from VND 4,000,000 to VND 6,000,000 for drivers who illegally dump garbage, soil, sand, stone, materials, and waste within the land area reserved for roads on suburban roads.
Fines from VND 10,000,000 to VND 15,000,000 for drivers who illegally dump garbage, soil, sand, stone, materials, and waste onto the streets.
In addition to being subject to penalties, drivers of vehicles (when driving cars) who commit some of these violations will also have their driving license points deducted by 2 points.
