In the car world in Vietnam, Mercedes-AMG G63 is a popular luxury SUV model with an estimated number of more than 100 cars that have arrived in the country. However, versions directly upgraded by famous tuning companies appear in very limited quantities. Brabus 800 Widestar is one such name.
The Brabus 800 Widestar currently rolling in Vietnam is considered a rare item when this is a complete product manufactured by Brabus, instead of just using a body kit installed on the standard Mercedes-AMG G63 as commonly used by many domestic car enthusiasts. The entire upgrade package from exterior, interior to engine is carried out at the factory of a famous tuning company from Germany.
The Brabus 800 Widestar is a version developed based on the Mercedes-AMG G63, but is strongly redesigned by Brabus with an expanded body, characteristic aerodynamic details and a unique aesthetic mark. Compared to the original G63, the Widestar brings a more imposing and aggressive appearance, suitable for the style of customers who require clear differences.
According to research, this Brabus 800 Widestar used to belong to a businessman in Hai Phong. After a period of use, the car was transferred and now belongs to a car enthusiast in Thai Nguyen. Notably, the car is carrying a beautiful auction license plate.
Technically, the original Mercedes-AMG G63 uses a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine, producing 577 horsepower and a maximum torque of 850 Nm. When Brabus upgraded it to the 800 Widestar (G800) package, this engine block was deeply refined, increasing power to about 789 horsepower and torque reaching 1,000 Nm.
Thanks to its superior power, the Brabus 800 Widestar has the ability to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in about 4.1 seconds, an impressive number for a large SUV model, before reaching an electronically limited top speed of 240 km/h. These specifications show a clear difference between the complete Brabus version and the G63 models that only stop at exterior upgrades.
The appearance of the Brabus 800 Widestar in Vietnam continues to show that the trend of car playing is increasingly diverse, when a part of car enthusiasts not only seek luxury or strength, but also value exclusivity and craftsmanship from leading car tuning brands in the world.
