According to initial information, this is one of two 2004 S55 AMGs imported into the country 21 years ago to serve a special event. When first launched, this high-performance sedan received significant attention from luxury car collectors. After that, the car found a new owner, a car enthusiast, but was mainly used for display rather than regular use.
The car's short reselling has attracted attention because the current price has approached some old luxury cars on the market. The price of 950 million VND is considered quite high, partly reflecting the rarity and collectible value of this model.
The 2004 Mercedes-Benz S55 AMG belongs to the luxury sedan segment but has been significantly upgraded in terms of performance. The car is equipped with a 5.5L supercharged V8 engine, producing 493 horsepower and a maximum torque of 700 Nm. These figures help the model achieve superior performance compared to the standard S-Class versions of the same period.
The car is also equipped with active Body Control suspension (optional), 14.2-inch disc brakes at the front and many upgrades to the chassis to bring a stable, sporty but still smooth driving experience. The Kompressor badge on the side of the car is a recognition of this special supercharged version.
