At the Pham Van Bach - Hoang Quan Chi intersection (Hanoi), the AI camera system detected 52 cases of running red lights, 47 cases of not wearing helmets and 2 cases of going against traffic.
In addition to automatic monitoring with AI cameras, channels receiving traffic violation feedback from people continue to be effective.
Accordingly, through the Facebook platform, the Traffic Police Department received 85 feedbacks, of which 14 feedbacks were sufficient to be transferred to functional agencies for verification and handling. Through Zalo, 22 feedbacks were received, and 19 feedbacks were eligible for verification transfer.
On the VNeTraffic application, functional forces received 212 reflected messages, of which 15 messages were sufficiently grounded to be transferred to relevant units for verification and handling according to regulations.
According to the Traffic Police Department, the violations reflected by people mainly include improper overtaking, driving in the wrong lane, changing lanes and directions in violation of regulations, not complying with traffic lights, driving vehicles in emergency lanes, illegal parking, and using phones when driving and motorbikes enter highways.
