Exciting Tet shopping on many streets
Recorded on many streets such as Dang Van Ngu, Chua Boc, Nguyen Trai... known as bustling places of fashion brands, crowded in the days leading up to the Lunar New Year. The later it gets, the busier the shops become as people take advantage of Tet shopping before the holidays.
On Dang Van Ngu street, people have to park their cars at the beginning of the road for convenience in moving between many stores. Even the street is congested when 1-2 cars move inward.
Fashion brands on this street are always crowded, inside the store there is no empty space. After work, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy (Yen Hoa ward, Hanoi) went to admire some sets of clothes to wear during Tet.
About a week ago, I started receiving salaries and bonuses. In addition to the money to save for buying candies and gifts for grandparents and parents, I want to reward myself with new clothes and new ao dai to wear for Tet" - Ms. Thuy shared.

According to Ms. Thuy, the designs and colors of this year's clothing are diverse and suitable for many ages. At the same time, the last days of the year are also the time when fashion brands and stores launch many promotions to attract customers such as 50% discount, buy 1 get 1 free...
Before leaving, I clearly stated the items I need to buy to avoid waste. Brands all have discount programs from 10-50%. Some stores I like usually only sell online, during Tet they have 2 weeks of direct opening, so I also take advantage. For example, this new-style fur coat, the original price is 950,000 VND, later reduced to 850,000 VND" - Ms. Thuy added.
Not only Ms. Thuy, men also take advantage of the evenings near Tet to blend into the shopping crowd on many streets.
Mr. Tran Minh Duc (Dong Da, Hanoi) said that this year, he decided to buy a few more new items to change his appearance. However, the reality is that the number of customers flocking to fashion stores is unexpectedly large, causing many products he is proud of to run out of size and color.
I only intended to buy a jacket and a few shirts to wear to wish Tet. But going into any store, I have to wait for my turn to try on clothes. Sometimes I hold things in my hand and can't find a place to stand, there are shirts that I like but there are no sizes left" - Mr. Duc said.
For many people, the bustling shopping atmosphere partly creates a feeling that Tet is very near. Although he has to wait quite a long time, Mr. Duc is still patient because at the end of the year everyone wants to have a new outfit to wear at the beginning of spring.
Sales staff "restlessly"
From customers to store staff, there is almost no hand rest. Ms. Le Phuong Anh - a saleswoman at a women's clothing store - said that from about 7 pm to 10 pm is the peak time of the day. Even when the store runs out of working hours, many customers continue to go in to admire more.

There were times when customers came in continuously, the fitting room was full. We didn't have time to hang up the clothes of the fitting customers, nor did we have time to clean up the fitting room because the latter person was already waiting outside" - Ms. Phuong Anh said.
Employees have to divide each other's work: one person consulting sizes, one person on duty in the fitting room, one person constantly folding and rearranging clothes. "Many times while consulting for this customer, they have to ask permission to turn around to support another customer because it is too crowded. Everyone who comes to buy clothes sympathizes with the Tet holiday due to overload" - Ms. Phuong Anh expressed.
