According to the Traffic Police Department, after officially opening to traffic on April 29, 2026, on the two expressways Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon and Hoai Nhon - Quy Nhon, hundreds of cases of speeding violations and some acts of stopping and parking in violation of regulations have been recorded. Worryingly, spontaneous trading along the route has also appeared, posing a potential risk of traffic unsafety.

However, the traffic order and safety situation on the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon expressway is basically controlled, and vehicles circulate smoothly and smoothly.
Through patrol and control work, the Traffic Police force discovered that some people arbitrarily opened drinking water sales points, stopped and parked on the side of the highway. This is an act that poses a very high risk of causing traffic unsafety, which can lead to serious accidents due to vehicles stopping and parking suddenly on the highway. In addition, the situation of pedestrians crossing the road improperly also causes distraction for vehicle drivers.
Faced with the above situation, the Traffic Police force has coordinated with functional units on the route to propagate and mobilize people to comply with regulations; and at the same time worked with the Police of communes with expressways passing through to jointly intervene, remind and take measures to handle if violations continue.
The Traffic Police force recommends that people absolutely do not trade, gather, stop, or park illegally on the highway; do not walk or cross the highway in any form; strictly comply with the provisions of law on traffic order and safety. Every small violation on the highway can lead to serious consequences.
The Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon expressway started construction in early 2023, passing through Quang Ngai and Gia Lai, is one of 12 component projects of the North-South Expressway in the East phase 2021 - 2025.
