The Gumball 3000 2024 supercar event will travel through 5 countries including Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. The journey will depart from Ho Chi Minh City on September 14. This year's event is expected to gather about 100 supercars.
In the list of cars participating in Gumball 3000 this year, there are 3 Bentley cars. Among them, there are 2 super luxury coupe Bentley Continental GT and SUV Bentley Bentayga.
Bentley Continental GT coming to Vietnam will have a black one produced from 2003 to 2011. The remaining one belongs to the 3rd generation, produced from 2018 to 2024.
Unlike the first generation which only had a 6.0-liter W12 engine, the third generation Bentley Continental GT has an additional more fuel-efficient engine, a 4.0-liter, 32-valve, twin-turbocharged V8.
This engine helps the car produce a maximum capacity of 542 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and maximum torque of 770 Nm at 2,000 to 4,000 rpm.
The third generation Bentley Continental GT super luxury coupe will use an 8-speed automatic transmission. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds before reaching a maximum speed of 319 km/h.
