On August 28, many people came to the Vietnam Exhibition Center in Dong Anh (Hanoi) to admire the VinFast Lac Hong car with a bulletproof version, plated with gold for the head.
This is a product being displayed within the framework of the exhibition of the country's achievements "80 years of Independence - freedom - Happiness".
The bulletproof version of the Lac Hong 900 LX flagship line is displayed at the West Stadium; the standard version is displayed at the indoor exhibition area.
Previously, VinFast handed over the Lac Hong 900 LX batch, including an international standard bulletproof version, to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to serve the international head of state at the 80th Anniversary of September 2.
This is a limited edition car designed with a strong national cultural imprint combined with international safety standards, marking a new step forward for VinFast in the journey of developing the Vietnamese car brand.
The Lac Hong 900 LX includes two versions: Standard and bulletproof.
According to the manufacturer, the highlight of both versions is the luxurious design, inspired by the traditional Vietnamese cultural symbol. Details such as the Lac bird-shaped gold-plated logo, the male-shaped grille remind of Dong Son bronze bridge or the parallel bar symbolizing the bamboo row combined with modern processing technology. The interior of the car uses high-quality materials such as Golden Nanmu wood, Nappa leather and hand-painted gold details, creating a comfortable, luxurious space.
In particular, the bulletproof version of the Lac Hong 900 LX meets VPAM VR7 standards - the highest level for all-wheel drive vehicles. The vehicle is completely covered with steel, reinforced with chassis, glass and bulletproof walls by INKAS ( Canada) and has undergone a rigorous testing process in Germany. The vehicle's resilience has been demonstrated through tests with 440 shots and multiple blasting. The vehicle can be equipped with additional specialized systems such as backup oxygen, integrated fire fighting or satellite phones depending on the needs of use.
This model weighs 5,049 kg while the standard version weighs just over 3,000 kg, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.8 seconds (the standard version is 6.8 seconds), maximum speed of 150 km/h. The vehicle is equipped with Run Flat tires, allowing it to travel from 80-100 km even when the tire is sprayed.
This model uses a 123 kWh battery, providing a range of 450 km per charge, charging 10-70% in 35 minutes with a 450 m water-crossing capability.
The first batch of deliveries includes 2 bulletproof vehicles and 10 standard vehicles. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs' selection to serve as the head car at the country's important event is considered a recognition of the quality and class of this model. According to Vingroup representative, the Lac Hong 900 LX product line not only has commercial significance but also shows the desire to elevate the national brand, introduce a modern, creative and integrated Vietnam image to international friends.
