Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is developed based on the SU7 prototype, but is made entirely of carbon to reduce weight. In addition, the car is equipped with 3 electric motors (including two V8s and one V6 engine), with a maximum capacity of 1,548 horsepower. The car can accelerate from 0-100km/h in just 1.97 seconds; from 0-200km/h in 5.97 seconds before reaching a maximum speed of 350km/h.
The V8s engine developed by the company can reach a rotation speed of up to 27,200 rpm, a capacity of 578 horsepower and a maximum torque of 635 Nm.
CATL's Qilin 2.0 battery system with a maximum capacity of 1330 kW can provide full power for Xiaomi SU7 Ultra to operate. In particular, even at 20%, the battery can still discharge up to 880 kW of capacity. SU7 Ultra also supports fast charging speed, the car battery can be recharged in less than 12 minutes.
Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is equipped with AP Racing high-performance brake calipers specifically for racing cars (including 6-piston brake calipers at the front and rear, and brake pads capable of withstanding working temperatures of over 800 degrees). Xiaomi also uses reverse motor technology to recuperate braking energy and provide regenerative braking force of up to 0.6G.
In terms of design, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is significantly different from the standard SU7. SU7 Ultra is equipped with a large carbon fiber rear wing that creates downforce on the road surface. The remaining parts were also modified to have a more aerodynamic structure.
According to the unit, in October 2024 SU7 Ultra will set a new record in the pure electric sedan segment at the Nurburgring racetrack. However, to achieve this expectation, the SU7 Ultra must complete the race, surpassing the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT's 7 minutes, 07, 55 seconds.
