In general, during the 7 days of Hung Kings Commemoration Day holiday and April 30 - May 1 (from April 25 to April 27 and from April 30 to May 3), the whole province recorded 1 traffic accident, injuring 1 person, with no deaths.
To ensure traffic order and safety, the traffic police force of the whole province has mobilized maximum forces and vehicles, strengthened patrols and controls on key roads, especially mountainous and crowded areas.
Through inspection of 23,787 vehicles, functional forces discovered and handled 1,947 violations, with a total estimated fine of more than 7.2 billion VND; revoked 35 driver's licenses; deducted points from 331 driver's licenses; temporarily seized 625 vehicles.
In the road sector alone, about 1,920 violations were recorded, mainly speeding (733 cases) and alcohol concentration violations (408 cases). Notably, there were 107 cases of students violating traffic safety and order being handled.

On inland waterways, functional forces discovered and handled 8 violations, fined more than 21 million VND; the railway sector discovered 19 violations, fined more than 14 million VND.
In addition to patrolling and controlling, functional forces also coordinate with the police of communes and wards in tourist-intensive areas to divert traffic early, guide traffic, and directly propagate to people.
The application of unmanned aerial vehicles (flycams) to monitor traffic at hotspots is also effectively implemented, helping to regulate vehicles in a timely manner and limit congestion.
