Prominent in the car lineup is the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren with its signature silver color, often nicknamed "silver arrow" by car enthusiasts. This model uses a 5.4-liter M155 V8 engine combined with supercharge, producing a maximum power of 626 horsepower and a maximum torque of 780 Nm. The car is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in about 3.8 seconds before reaching a maximum speed of 334 km/h.
During the development of the McLaren SLR, Mercedes-Benz was in charge of engine manufacturing, while McLaren was in charge of optimizing operating performance and weight distribution. Although using a front-mounted engine configuration, the engine block is located deep behind the front wheel shaft to improve balance when operating at high speeds.
The name SLR is an abbreviation of Sport Leicht Rennsport in German, or Sport Light Racing in English. The nickname "silver arrow" originates from aerodynamic design and silver paint inspired by the legendary Mercedes 300 SLR model.
This supercar model also impresses with its frame made of reinforced carbon fiber plastic material, helping the car's weight maintain at around 1.75 tons.
According to car collectors, the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren mentioned above was brought to Vietnam in July 2008 through Hai Phong port and was once owned by a car collector in Ho Chi Minh City. At that time, the model quickly created a buzz in the supercar community thanks to its distinct design and rare quantity.
In addition, the Ferrari 488 GTB appearing in the car lineup has a yellow exterior combined with many black paint details, accompanied by a carbon body kit creating a sporty highlight.
The Ferrari 488 GTB was developed to replace the Ferrari 458 Italia after more than 7 years of presence on the market. Although still retaining many familiar lines from the previous generation, about 85% of the components on this model have been redesigned.
The most notable point lies in the 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, replacing the 4.5-liter naturally aspirated engine on the Ferrari 458 Italia. This engine produces a maximum power of 660 horsepower and a maximum torque of 760 Nm.
Thanks to that, the Ferrari 488 GTB can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in about 3 seconds before reaching a top speed of about 330 km/h, further affirming the position of the high-performance supercar from Italy.
