According to information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Ministry of Public Security, from 12:00 on December 16 to 12:00 on December 17, 2025, the camera system using artificial intelligence (AI) operated by this unit continues to be effective in monitoring and detecting violations of traffic order and safety in Hanoi and the Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway.
Accordingly, at km20 of the Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway, the AI camera recorded 13,428 vehicles traveling at an average speed of 69km/h. Through monitoring, the system detected 6 cases of drivers not wearing seat belts; no cases of using phones while driving were recorded.
All violations have been notified to the vehicle owner for handling according to regulations.
Meanwhile, at the Pham Van Bach - Hoang Quan Chi intersection (Cau Giay ward, Hanoi), the automatic AI camera system detected 37 cases of motorbike and motorbike drivers not wearing helmets and 70 cases of not obeying traffic light signals, running red lights. No cases of going in the wrong direction have been detected in this area.
At the same time, the AI camera on Le Van Luong Street did not record any cases of vehicles going in the wrong lane.
According to the authorities, all data and images of the above violations have been transferred to the Hanoi City Police and related units to complete the dossier and handle it in accordance with the provisions of law.

According to statistics from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Hanoi City Police, from 6:00 a.m. on December 13, 2025 to 6:00 a.m. on December 17, 2025, through the AI camera system operated by this unit, the authorities have detected and are handling 759 cases of traffic order and safety violations.
Of the total number of violations recorded, motorbikes and mopeds accounted for 539 cases. Notably, the act of not obeying traffic lights (running red lights) still accounts for a high proportion with 445 cases. In addition, the AI camera system also detected 91 cases of motorbike and motorbike drivers not wearing helmets.
For cars, the authorities recorded 220 violations, including 172 cases of not obeying traffic lights and 32 cases of stopping and parking in violation of regulations.
