According to current regulations, the car norms for general work of state-owned enterprises are stipulated in Article 13 of Decree No. 72/2023/ND-CP dated September 26, 2023 as follows:
For economic groups, the maximum is 2 cars/1 group.
Other state-owned enterprises have a maximum of 1 vehicle/unit.
State-owned enterprises manage cars to arrange for specified subjects when going on business trips.
However, according to the new draft Decree of the Ministry of Finance, this regulation has been abolished.
According to the explanation of the Ministry of Finance, removing the car quota of state-owned enterprises is for businesses to be proactive.
The draft Decree stipulates that cars for general work and cars for production and business activities of state-owned enterprises must comply with the provisions of law on management and use of state capital invested in production and business at enterprises and relevant laws and abolish Article 13.
