The Ministry of Public Security has just issued a draft Circular regulating testing and issuing driver's licenses; issuing and using international driver's licenses.
In which, the drafting committee proposed to add some new contents related to the motorcycle driving practice test.
Accordingly, supplement exam number 2 to handle simulated situations on the road:
The test has 11 contents including: Starting; Handling situations from branch roads to main roads or from non-priority roads to priority roads; Handling situations of turning right; Handling situations of turning left; Handling situations of turning around;
Handling overtaking situations; Handling when encountering obstacles; Handling when crossing the road; Handling situations of giving way to pedestrians crossing the road; Handling situations when crossing the railway; Handling situations when stopping at a red light.
For the 11 contents mentioned above, each content is implemented 2 times; the exam score will be 100 points, the score achieved is from 80 points or higher; testing is carried out by direct grading method combined with automatic grading equipment.
The yard for arranging test number 2 has dimensions of width (15m) x length (60m), belonging to the Driving Test Center or the driving practice yard for motorcycle driving tests according to regulations.
The above proposal, the drafting committee said, is based on reality, when regulations on driving tests using software simulating traffic situations do not accurately reflect actual traffic situations, there are situation contents that are "puzzling" for candidates instead of evaluating driving skills.
Regulations on theoretical testing, test questions are still few, you can learn tricks, learn coping, questions are only focused on general traffic rules, there are not many questions to handle practical traffic participation situations, there are not many questions about traffic culture so that test takers can see that complying with traffic rules is preventing traffic accidents early and from afar.
Regulations on motorcycle driving tests in the new image only focus on driving skills, not showing the traffic participation awareness of test takers.
