In the past two weeks, the lobby of a luxury hotel in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Vung Tau area) has often seen rare sports cars. Before that, there was the Ferrari 296 GTS with the personalized Tailor made package and this time the Huracan STO. Both are in the collection of a long-time businessman in the car enthusiast world here.
This Huracan STO was previously imported to Vietnam. After 4 years since its appearance, the car is still attached to an owner, and has never been passed over to another collector.
The Lamborghini Huracan STO was developed based on track experience, with an outstanding aerodynamic design. The vehicle has a large rear spoiler, a roof-mounted air intake to help cool the engine, and an engine compartment cover inspired by the Super Trofeo EVO line. About 75% of the body is made of carbon fiber, which is both light and increases stiffness.
Providing power for the Huracan STO is a naturally aspirated, 5.2-liter V10 engine, producing 640 horsepower and a maximum torque of 565 Nm. The vehicle uses rear-wheel drive, integrated rear-wheel drive and ceramic braking system-carbon CCMR applying technology from Formula 1.
The Huracan STO's performance is impressive with an acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h in 3 seconds, with a maximum speed of 310 km/h. Lamborghini also equips the car with three driving modes including STO ( Street), Trofeo (racing track) and Pioggia (rainfall), providing flexibility in many operating conditions.
