A Ferrari 488 GTB has just appeared on the streets of Ho Chi Minh City with a striking yellow appearance. According to records, the car has been repainted in exterior compared to the original color before.
This car model belongs to the group of the first Ferrari 488 GTB brought to Vietnam and has undergone many transfers during use. Currently, the car has a new exterior configuration, creating a difference compared to the previous image when it was still in the original paint color.
Ferrari 488 GTB (Type F142M) is a mid-engine supercar introduced by Ferrari to replace the Ferrari 458 Italia line. This is also the first mid-engine Ferrari model to use a V8 turbocharged engine since the Ferrari F40. Later, this line continued to be succeeded by the Ferrari F8 Tributo.
Compared to its predecessor, the Ferrari 488 GTB has been redeveloped in most of its structure with about 85% new design components. The car is equipped with a 3.9L twin-turbo V8 engine, producing a maximum power of 660 horsepower and a maximum torque of 760 Nm. Thanks to that, the car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in about 3 seconds and reaching a maximum speed of about 330 km/h.
Besides operating performance, the Ferrari 488 GTB has also received many notable international awards, including the title "Supercar of the Year 2015" voted by Top Gear magazine and the "Best Car for the Driver" award in 2017 awarded by Motor Trend. The high-performance 488 Pista version of this car line was also honored by journalist Jeremy Clarkson as "Supercar of the Year 2019".
