Accordingly, since April 10, the Traffic Police Department, Provincial Police has operated a surveillance camera system to ensure traffic safety and security in the area. As a result, after 1 month of system exploitation, the unit detected and sent notices to handle and handle 2,631 violations.
Of which, there are 463 cases of trucks, 1,870 cases of cars, 298 cases of passenger cars.
Specific violations include: 203 cases of not complying with traffic light signals; 51 cases of speeding; 2,368 cases of not complying with traffic light signals and instructions; 7 cases of driving on the right side in the direction of travel and 2 cases of carrying people on the vehicle body in violation of regulations.
Statistics show that the number of cases of violations being fined in the area is relatively large.
To handle violations, 57 camera devices have been installed at 30 locations on many important routes and intersections in districts and cities across Ha Giang province.
The fine for violating the camera system will focus on violations such as: Not complying with traffic light signals, driving at a speed exceeding the prescribed speed limit and violations of traffic safety and order.
Most of the cameras are installed on important routes and traffic axes with large traffic volume in Ha Giang City. In addition, some points on national highways 2, 4C, 279 will be used to punish violations of driving at high speeds.
